  • Time is running out...

Hi everyone, thankfully at this stage, all our arrangements are in place and the team is as ready for Everest as we can get, apart from some small pieces of equipment, that should be delivered very soon.

We depart on the 2nd April 2006 from London bound for Katmandu in Nepal, from here we shall travel via road to the Tibetan border and to a town named Nylam. After arriving in Nylam we shall be reunited with all our climbing equipment which TNT will kindly air freight there from the U.K for us.

    Thanks TNT

Nylam will be home for the next week, with the team trekking each day to improve fitness and gain acclimatization to the Altitude and lack of oxygen, after this period of trekking, we move on to the town of Tingiri and then on to the village of Rongbuk, before finally into walking Base camp. This will be approximately two weeks after leaving home.
